Nirav Modi's custodial remand extended by 28 days

Fugitive diamond merchant Nirav Modi has been remanded in custody for another 28 days. The 48-year-old businessman is facing extradition proceedings in the UK in connection with the Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud and money laundering case. Modi has been behind bars since his arrest last month. The next date of hearing in the case has been fixed for May 24.
