One dead, three injured in US synagogue shooting

A gunman opened fire at a synagogue in California, killing one person and injuring three others including the rabbi as worshippers marked the final day of Passover, officials said. Police were called after the man entered the synagogue and opened fire with an "AR-15 type" weapon. A 19-year-old man from San Diego has been detained over the shooting.
