4-year high profit margins raise hopes of turnaround

Profit margins of Indian companies are at a four-year high, raising prospects of a turnaround in corporate earnings. Profits of most automobile, FMCG and consumer durable companies have grown handsomely, powered partly by a pick-up in rural demand.
