Awami League leader shot dead after prayers in Bangladesh

A senior leader of Bangldesh's ruling Awami League was shot dead by unidentified gunmen outside a mosque in Dhaka's Badda area when he was returning home after Friday prayers. Farhad Ali, general secy of the Awami League's Badda Union wing, died on the spot as bullets pierced his chest and head.
