British rail companies have a message: We’re sorry. Very sorry. Apologies

Because of new connections and services, when National Rail in the UK revised its daily timetables there were some 4 million changes made about seven times the usual number. There have been tens of thousands of delays and cancellations, enraging just as many passengers. The anger has prodded train companies into a cascade of apologies.
