Another independent director quits Jet Air board

Mathai is a former Indian foreign secretary and had served as India’s high commissioner to United Kingdom. In a statement, Jet said Mathai has resigned from its board of Jet Airways from Thursday “due to increasing pressure on his time from other commitments and consequent inability to devote the time required to discharge his obligations, as an independent director.”
