London mayor Sadiq Khan named UK politician of the year

London mayor Sadiq Khan has been named the politician of the year. The annual political and public life awards presented by Britain's 'Asian Voice' weekly newspaper also recognised UK defence secretary Gavin Williamson as Cabinet Minister of the Year and Indian-origin politician Priti Patel as Conservative party MP of the Year.
