'SpiceJet got feelers to buy Jet, was worried about liabilities'

While SpiceJet prepares to fly the planes leased from Jet from Friday, SpiceJet chairman Ajay Singh insists that the decision to expand has not been taken in haste or under pressure. Last October, SpiceJet had received feelers to acquire Jet Airways, but talks did not go far as "size of the liability was too large."
